Getting to Upton House School

  • By Rail
There are two mainline stations serving Windsor, which are: Windsor and Eton Riverside, which links to London Waterloo via Clapham Junction; and Windsor Central, which links to London Paddington via Slough. Both are within easy reach of the School, only a five-minute taxi journey away.
  • By Road
Windsor is conveniently located just west of the M25 and is easily accessed via the M25, M4 and M3 motorways.
From the M25 (south): Leave the motorway at junction 13 and follow signs for Windsor to join the A308 (roundabout adjacent to the Runnymede-on-Thames hotel). Travel along the A308 for approximately five miles and, on entering Windsor along Osborne Road, at the first roundabout turn left into the one-way system, into Frances Road and Alma Road. At the next roundabout, take the final exit into Osborne Road and after 200 yards turn left at the pedestrian lights into St Leonard’s Road. The School entrance can be seen immediately on your right, with limited parking on site and in adjacent roads.
From the M4 (east and west): Leave the motorway at junction 6 and join the A332, signposted Windsor and Eton. Travel along this dual carriageway through one intersection, and at the first roundabout take the second exit into Goslar Way. Travel straight across at the next roundabout into the Osborne Road one-way system and after 200 yards turn left at the pedestrian lights into St Leonard’s Road. The School entrance can be seen immediately on your right, with limited parking on site and in adjacent roads.
From the M3 (west): Leave the motorway at junction 3 and join the A322, signposted Windsor and Legoland. Continue for approximately two miles and then bear right around a large traffic island, following signs for Ascot, to join the A332. Travel along the A332 for approximately nine miles, passing through Ascot and Windsor Great Park. On entering Windsor the road bears left into Osborne Road. At the first roundabout take the second exit into the one-way system, which begins as Frances Road and then becomes Alma Road. At the next roundabout, take the final exit back into Osborne Road and after 200 yards turn left at the pedestrian lights into St Leonard’s Road. The School entrance can be seen immediately on your right, with limited parking on site and in adjacent roads.
