At Upton House School, students embark on an exciting journey through our Digital Fundamentals curriculum, where technology and creativity come together. 

Within Digital Fundamentals, pupils build essential digital skills and dive into practical, real-world applications. Every pillar of the curriculum comes to life during engaging class sessions. 

As children discover their passions and talents in class, many choose to deepen their expertise by joining our vibrant after-school clubs. 
Through these clubs, students are empowered to pursue the areas that spark their curiosity and align with their unique interests.

Broadcasting 

The children livestream the majority of the school events themselves, controlling the cameras, vision mixing, sound engineering and directing the livestream. 

In this picture, you can see our 10-year-old pupils livestreaming our 5-year-old children in February. 

Beyond content creation and livestreaming, pupils step into the world of TV and Media. Visits to Pinewood Studios, Industrial Light and Motion, and Sky News inspire them to elevate their school studio skills to future career levels! 

3D printing and CAD 

Pupils have a wealth of opportunities to nurture their product design and engineering abilities. 

They tackle real-world challenges by seeking out 3D models or designing 3D prints to solve problems, such as creating innovative storage and organisation systems with Multiboard.io or Gridfinity. 

When existing products fall short, students become creative by remixing and redesigning them to meet their needs and overcome challenges. 

With CAD, students bring their own inventions to life through 3D printing and take on more advanced remixing projects with confidence.
